Tarpon, aka, Poon & Silver King are abundant in Boca Grande as well as Ft. Myers, Sanibel, Captiva & Ft. Myers Beach
One of the best eating fish around and a favorite of the locals.  Snook are real fighters and acrobats.  It's the locals favorite to catch and eat!

Speckled Sea Trout
A good eating fish.  Some of the reason for it's declining numbers in the last couple decades.  It is a real prize to catch this beauty.
Light flaky meat great for grilling.  Abundant in our area.  However, we are now seeing larger trout then ever now.

This fish travels in schools during winter in our area.  A little boney but a good eating fish.
A great fighter.  This fish is pure muscle and you'll see why.   Is quite abundant around Sanibel, Captiva, Ft. Myers Beach.   A customer told us they cooked thiers up marinated in tariaki and it was great!

Snapper are fun to fish for and usually live in schools.  So, you never catch just one.  Great fish to eat, especailly when broiled with lemon, butter & a little dill.

Jewfish (Goliath Grouper)
King Mackerel
  Goliath Grouper is no longer allow to be targeted or  brought aboard a vessel.  It is a mammoth fish and can reach the size of a VW Bug!  Although not legal to posess there is alway a chance of catching one  They are found all around Fort Myers waterways near structure.
a.k.a. Smoker!  This fun to catch fish is a great fish to land and a major notch in the belt of the angler.  We catch these 2-3 miles off Sanibel Island.  Some like to eat King Macks but tend to have high mercury levels.
